Nancy C. Lemasters, 95, of Washington, Pennsylvania, passed away on April 11, 2026, at TownView Health and Rehabilitation in Canonsburg.
Born on November 24, 1930, in Wheeling, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Harry S. and Mae Connors James. She graduated from Trinity High School and went on to build a life centered around family and community.
Nancy married Marvin Lemasters on June 26, 1952, and the couple shared 49 years together until his passing in 2001. She was a devoted member of Immaculate Conception Church, St. James Parish in Washington.
She was known for her deep commitment to her family, embracing her role as a wife, mother, and grandmother with love and dedication. She especially cherished time spent with her sisters, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Nancy is survived by her daughter Ruth Ann Piatt (Raymond) of Washington; her son Larry Lemasters (Sherry) of Flower Mound, Texas; her sister Shirley McLean (Chuck); four grandchildren—Heather Nafe (Chris), Lucas Lemasters (Megi), Scott Lemasters (Kierstin), and Londyn Lemasters (fiancée Nic); and four great-grandchildren—Carter Nafe, Sicily Lemasters, Harlow Lemasters, and Bruge Lemasters. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday at Nichol Funeral Home in Washington, followed by a prayer service officiated by Deacon Tim Counihan. Interment will take place at Washington Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
Nancy will be remembered for her warmth, devotion, and the lasting legacy she leaves through her family. May she rest in peace.
